On Monday, June 10, 2013, about forty to fifty people came to hear Picador Professor Calvin Baker read from his work at the Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst in Leipzig. The event was moderated by Ellen Schweda (author and journalist for MDR Figaro). Calvin Baker read from his novel Grace on which he is currently working. In the Q&A, Baker and Schweda discussed topics such as where to find inspiration for his writing and how personal and national identities relate.
