Room Announcement for Seminar, “Political Cultures in a Transatl

The seminar offered by Professor Crister Garrett, “The Notion of Postmodern Politics in a Transatlantic Context” (that is part of the Module ‘Political Cultures in a Transatlantic Context’, on Tuesday, 11:15-12:45, will meet in Seminar Room 512 Am Brühl.


Rundquist and Two Garrett Courses Starting Later

Three courses will start later than announced in the course catalog.
These are:

•Paul Rundquist, “Presidential Election 2008”. Instead of on 17 April, this course will now start on 24 April.

•Crister Garrett and his two seminars on religion and society scheduled for Wednesday will not start on 9 April but rather on 16 April

Leipzig Super Bowl Party Supported by ASL Faculty

In its February 6th issue, the Leipziger Volkszeitung covered Leipzig's annual Super Bowl party at Leo's Brasserie. ASL faculty member Catherine Sharpe attended the event. Picador Professor John Haskell reads in Grassi Museum

On Thursday, Picador Professor John Haskell read from his short story collection "I Am Not Jackson Pollock" in the GRASSI Museum in Leipzig. In a room packed with approximately 80 people, the audience listened to his performance, followed by a German translation read by former ASL student and actor Alexander Munzig.
