Being back on campus, I hope you are all enjoying the summer term so far! Between assignments, group works, reading journals and mensa pauses, I also want you to think about the time after your studies at ASL and the opportunities internships can offer during your studies. I know that this can be quite overwhelming and frightening because the field of opportunities seems so wide. But this is also a chance! The internships I have for you today also reflect this broadness quite well and are just a suggestion what you can do with an BA or MA in American Studies.
ASL is happy to announce that Beyond Narrative: Exploring Narrative Liminality and Its Cultural Work has just been released as an open-access publication with transcript. It is the culmination of the work that took place from 2017 to 2021 as part of the DFG-funded network “Narrative Liminality and/in the Formation of American Modernities,” which was organized by ASL’s Sebastian M.
