Finding the right internship is an important and time-consuming step of your internship experience. While on-site internships might prove to be difficult at the moment, you can start researching companies you would consider for an internship as well as update your resume.

ASLAA e.V. would like to invite you to its very first online roundtable titled “Pursuing a PhD in American Studies.” Are you thinking about taking your studies further than your M.A. degree? Maybe you’re not sure whether that’s the right path for you? Is it possible to work while completing a PhD? What scholarship opportunities are there? These are all important questions to consider when thinking about completing a dissertation.

Due to the circumstances caused by COVID-19, we will extend the deadline for the entrance exam of the MA in American Studies to May 25, 2020.

We also want to take this opportunity to reach out to students currently thinking (or perhaps being unsure) about pursuing a follow-up degree to let you know that, while some aspects of the coming winter term might still be in the balance, it is clear that the semester will take place and that we will enroll a new cohort of MA students.
