Screening and Discussion on "Pre-Crime"

The Working Group "Machine Learning" at Leipzig University's Institute for Computer Science will screen the movie Pre-Crime and host a discussion with the movie's director, Matthias Heeder. The film discusses difficult questions of the future of policing in digital cultures and societies. Please note that the organizers are asking for prior registration. The Museum der Bildenden Künste in Leipzig currently holds two exhibitions on popular culture since 1945: "A Star is Born: Fotografie und Rock seit Elvis" and "Leben mit Pop! Grafik der 60er Jahre von Warhol bis Richter." Both exhibitions will be open until January 13, 2013.
