How can things move forward after the election? How did activism change under the presidency of Donald Trump? What do you expect after the election? How can we fight racism and antisemitism?

Morgan Jerkins will read from her work This Will Be My Undoing: Living at the Intersection of Black, Female, and Feminist in (White) America and engage in a discussion moderated by Senthuran Varatharajah.

Prof. Heike Paul, chair of American literary and cultural studies at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, will hold a lecture on the topic “#MeToo and Other Kinds of Feminisms in the Age of Trump” on Friday, July 19, 4pm, at the GWZ lecture hall (Beethovenstr. 15).
