The student representatives (Fachschaftsrat or FSR) are the representative body of the students of American Studies Leipzig. They can support current students and answer questions that you would rather like to discuss with other students instead of with faculty, and they also organize a number of important events.

Student Representatives: FSR AnAm

The Anglo-American Student Representatives (Fachschaftsrat or FSR AnAm) is the representative body of the students of American Studies Leipzig and the Institute for British Studies. Members are elected annually by their fellow students. The FSR represents and promotes the interests of the students of the student body in several committees. Apart from being there to answer your questions and help you with your concerns, the FSR also organizes parties and meetings like the monthly roundtable. Students are always welcome to join the weekly meetings.

You can find more information about the student representatives and their activities via the FSR website and especially through their social-media presences, on Instagram and on Twitter.
