As an American, Ms. Protano spent a Fulbright year as a teacher at the Rainer-Werner-Fassbender Fachoberschule für Sozialwesen in Munich.

While working closely with young students and teaching various classes, she had the chance to learn about the differences and similarities between the German and American classroom.
