DAIS Event: Developments within American (Im)migration Flows with Prof. Olaf Stieglitz

Wed, 11/09/2022 - 18:00 to 19:00

At the onset of the 2020s, historical parallels to the 1920s enjoy increased prominence in societal discourse–both in the US as well as in Europe. Will we live to see an equally  tumultuous decade similar to  the Roaring Twenties from a hundred years ago? The scale and scope of disruption already reached by the summer of 2022 came unexpected to most of us and can be called historical from multiple perspectives.

The event is free for everyone. Please see the DAIS website for additional information.

DAIS is an independent non-profit institution that is dedicated to promoting transatlantic dialogue. American Studies Leipzig enjoys numerous ties to DAIS, most notably in the American Space Leipzig initiative. You can find out more about the American Space Leipzig here.
