Among other topics, he talks about his impressions of living in Leipzig and Saxony, his literary interest in Russia, current politics, and his teaching experiences at ASL. Former Picador Professor Daniel Peña Interviewed by ASL Student

Daniel Peña, who was Picador Guest Professor for Literature in the winter term of 2017/18, was featured in an interview for Rice University's undergraduate literary magazine R2: The Rice Review. The interview was conducted by ASL student Mascha Lange, who spent a semester abroad in Houston.
