Morgan Jerkins's Picador Readings in Leipzig and Berlin Draw Large Crowds

Current Picador Professor Morgan Jerkins's public readings in Leipzig and Berlin both attracted large crowds. In Leipzig, she read from her essay collection This Will Be My Undoing and discussed her work with Senthuran Varatharajah and the audience. The reading took place on October 26 at the Galerie für zeitgenössische Kunst as part of a literary festival co-organized by EDIT and the Literarischer Herbst.

On November 11, in turn, Morgan Jerkins read from her work and engaged in a discussion with Alice Hasters and Teresa Bücker at the Heimathafen Neukölln in Berlin. Both events were attended by large numbers of interested students and other citizens; the reading in Berlin was completely sold out. For some impressions from both events, please see the photographs below; for more, please visit the professorship's Facebook page.
