Transatlantic Leadership Program 2019 Applications Open January 1, 2019

Applications for YouthProAktiv's Transatlantic Leadership Program (TLP) 2019 open January 1, 2019. The TLP is designed to identify the brightest young people from the European Union and the United States willing to participate in developing strong Transatlantic relations. The program allows young leaders from both sides of the Atlantic to undergo a three months working experience at United States Congress for European young leaders, and at the European Parliament for American participants.

The participants will be selected from EU and US citizens under 40 years old who are interested in US-EU relations. Participants should be prepared to participate in a working experience at the US House of Representatives, US Senate (for European participants) or European Parliament (for American participants) for a period of three months.

The selection process will be resume-based. After this initial stage, the international committee including the representatives of YouthProAktiv and other partners from participating institutions will select the best candidates for an online test and interview. After this process, between 12 and 20 finalists will be selected who will be presented at parliamentary and congressional offices for consideration.

The application deadline is January 31, 2019.
