Non-Profit Management Internship, The Actors Theatre, NYC

The Actors Theatre is an award-winning non-profit theatre, community center and educational institution, that has made it its goal to support people from all walks of life to achieve their potential through acting and education. Located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, The Actors Theatre has produced classical and contemporary plays and documentary films of the highest artistic standards for over three decades now. The Actors Theatre is currently looking for an intern with the ability to lead, manage teams, interact in a fast-paced business environment, and who wants to make the difference in the world.


The intern’s primary responsibilities include

  • Managing the daily administrative operations of the organization
  • Taking a leadership role in programming initiatives
  • Helping with administrating and producing on-going classes and workshops
  • Taking care of administration, marketing, development sales, and fund-raising
  • Planning and conducting community events


  • Student has to be available for 4 months (flexible dates)
  • High proficiency of the English language
  • Proactive and outgoing nature
  • Work independently and responsibly
