Please join us for a roundtable discussion with special guest U.S. Consul General Ken Toko on President Joe Biden’s first year in office and the state of the transatlantic relationship. The event is specifically intended to bring student voices and interests into the conversation for an open exchange on a diverse range of U.S. and transatlantic topics, so please feel more than welcome to join.

Ken Toko has served in Ukraine, Japan, China, Taiwan, and the USA, before coming to Leipzig, and has worked in External Relations at the Sony Corporation in Tokyo, prior to joining the U.S. Department of State. He holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from Columbia University.

Due to the current pandemic situation, the roundtable will be held online via Zoom.
