Dear students,

please be advised that the LC-I seminars will not start next week, but instead the week of October 17th.

The LC-I tutorials and the LC-I lecture will start next week.

Please find attached an updated version of the course schedule for the upcoming semester. Perhaps most importantly, we corrected a mistake from the previous post: In accordance with our Studienverlaufsplan, we are, of course, offering the module LS-II, not LS-I as previously listed.

Now that both secretariat positions have been filled, we are also working on a full course catalogue.

New Picador Professor Porochista Khakpour has recently been engaged in a number of activities which reflect upon the 10-year anniversary of 9/11.

Due to lack of personnel in the secretariat, ASL will not publish a course catalogue for the upcoming semester. Please find a schedule of the courses for the Winter Term 2011/2012 attached to this post.

For modules in your major American Studies, please enroll via email to asl-enrollment@uni-leipzig.de between September 28 and October 2. An enrollment information sheet will be posted at some point next week.
