Karrierewoche from 7-11 May

From 7-11 May the university's Career Center will host the second "Karrierewoche" for Leipzig students. The Karrierewoche offers different workshops, lectures, events, excursions, and talks with different company representatives. Students can, for instance, listen to lectures on job opportunities in the tourism industry or the Auswärtiges Amt.  The Karrierewoche will mainly take place in the HSG.

Internship Workshop with Focus on Internships in the U.S.

The internship workshop is designed to help BA and MA students who are interested in completing an internship as part of their studies. In the workshop, students will get advice on how to find an internship and apply for it, how to apply for financial support, how to prepare for an internship, and how to get credits for it.

This term’s special guest will be Ms. Birgit Kämmer from the US Consulate in Leipzig. She will provide information on internship opportunities in the US, visa application, etc.

The internship will take place at the GWZ, room 2.516.

Or just come and have a piece of cake. With the Help Desk, the ASL Event Committee wants to offer a student service to students.
