Join the next American Space Leipzig workshop with American Space Leipzig Language & American Society Education Coordinator, Heather Pruessing, who will share her expertise of the American job market, help participants create viable CVs for American employers and go through the general DOs and DON‘Ts of the job application process for employment in the United States.

Participants are encouraged to bring with them their current (German or English) CVs.

The event is free and open to the public.

Please join us for a teacher workshop with American Space Leipzig Language & American Society Education Coordinator, Heather Pruessing, who will work with teachers on developing a complete lesson from start to finish that teachers can employ in their respective English language classes.

The goal is to prepare a lesson that will encourage students to overcome their hesitations in speaking freely.

ASL's Stefan Schubert Discussed Environmental Storytelling at LNC

On May 11, 2019, the HTWK Leipzig hosted the 13th "Lange Nacht der Computerspiele" (LNC), displaying a variety of video and computer games in numerous booth and rooms and inviting guests to interact with these games. As part of the LNC, a newly founded initiative called lalalab, which aims to celebrate the cultural potentials of video games, was also inaugurated with a festival within the festival, the SpielKulturLabor.

Internship at Deutsch-Amerikanisches Zentrum Stuttgart Starting September 2019

The Deutsch-Amerikanisches Zentrum/ James-F.-Byrnes Institut e.V. is looking for American Studies students who would like to pursue an internship for at least 12 weeks (part time or full time) starting September 2019.

 

As a non-profit institution based in Stuttgart, the German-American Center informs about societal, cultural, political, and economic issues in both countries.

We want to show our gratitude for everyone who called or wrote us letters of condolence or left kind words in the book of condolences.
