On 21 April, 2017 at 5 p.m., American Studies Leipzig will celebrate the release of the tenth issue of aspeers: emerging voices in american studies, Europe’s first and currently only peer-reviewed graduate journal in American studies.

Youth for Understanding is responsible for organizing and conducting international youth exchanges since 1957. Currently, Youth for Understanding is looking for 12 student assistants to hold either German language classes or intercultural training for a group of US exchange students. The courses will be held on weekdays from August 21 to September 8, 2017. The positions are paid.

Mitteldeutscher Verlag is offering a marketing internship over a duration of at least eight weeks, either from May 2 to August 4, 2017 or starting Oktober 2, 2017. The working language will be German.
