Covalence EthicalQuote provides ESG ratings and reputation research to investors, companies, universities and non-profit organizations. ‘ESG’ stands for Environment, Social and Governance and also covers social responsibility, ethics, and sustainability issues. Since its founding in 2001, the Geneva-based company has been providing over 60 corporations with reputation research, benchmarks, and ESG data visualization tools and has been praised for its innovative stance on ratings and reputation research. Covalence is always looking for interns to join their ethical information analysis team, which allows interns to improve their IT-skills and learn about issues related to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. Covalence offers in-house as well as distant internship positions, which can be conducted from home. There is not a set duration, and the internship can be part time (20h/week) or fulltime (35h/week). The position is unpaid.

Welthungerhilfe is one of the major and respected private organizations in development cooperation and humanitarian aid in Germany. It carries out projects in 39 countries and campaigns publically for fairer cooperation with developing countries. Currently, Welthungerhilfe is looking for a communications intern for their office in Monrovia, Liberia, which includes frequent travels to project sites in the country. The internship lasts for a maximum of six months. Welthungerhilfe will provide accommodation on sight and pay a monthly allowance of 200€.

Study Abroad Program Internship, CEPA, Strasbourg

CEPA Gmbh is short for Customized Education Programs Abroad and is a tour operator specialized in educational tours for university students and groups. CEPA consists of a young and dynamic team whose main purpose is the personal and academic advancement of the participating students. Working closely with their partner universities in the United States, Canada, and Brazil, CEPA provides them each with a unique travel program that matches their academic needs and wishes. Moreover, CEPA also welcomes student groups in its Strasbourg office, and plans and implements academic seminars and other educational programs. CEPA is looking for an intern to extend its Strasbourg-based team. The internship will begin September 2017 or January/March 2018 and lasts for at least 6 months. The intern will receive 300€ per month as well as free accommodation.

Survival International is a global NGO that supports tribal peoples around the world and helps them to defend their lives, protect their land, and determine their own future. Since their founding in 1969, Survival International has developed into a progressive global movement that makes public and battles the continuous injustices tribal people are experiencing worldwide. Survival’s Berlin office is currently looking for an intern in the field of press and public relations. The intern will gain insights into the workings of an international human rights organization and will be given the opportunity to actively help support the rights of indigenous peoples. The internship will begin in April 2017 and can be conducted part-time as well (2 or 4 days a week).
