aspeers (Graduate Journal)
About aspeers
aspeers is the first and currently only graduate journal for american studies in Europe. Embedded into the American Studies Leipzig MA Program, its first four issues are available online and in print.
With most members of the reviewing editorial staff being MA candidates, aspeers is currently the only graduate-level peer-reviewed publication channel for students in European American Studies programs. The initial issue of aspeers allowed for any academic contribution exploring the diversity and productivity of the field. The following issues featured thematic sections on "Migration and Mobility," "Crime in America," "Nature and Technology Revisited," and "American Food Cultures," respectively.
