"Volunteerism, Diversity, and Civic Engagement"

On June 6, American Studies Leipzig inaugurated a photo exhibition on its 2006 study tour to Houston, Texas. About 60 guests joined ASL for the reception and screening of the film. Showing 60 photos taken by the students, the exhibition covers various themes of the tour. The photos are on display until June 20th in the GWZ Foyer (Beethovenstraße 15).

On the occasion, ASL showed Daniel Finck's documentary Volunteerism, Diversity, and Civic Engagement. The one hour movie covered major themes and impressions of the study tour. The informative and entertaining movie received many compliments for its documentary and artistic qualities.
