15. Apr 17:00 - 19:00

Over the past several years, 25 authors have come to Leipzig as Picador Guest Professors for Literature, teaching creative writing at the Institute for American Studies and engaging in a dialogue on US literature with the wider public. In this anniversary event, we want to celebrate the professorship with the current, 26th Picador Guest Professor, Josh Weil, and the Korean-American poet Don Mee Choi, who will read from their work and discuss the civic potentials of literature in a transcultural and transatlantic context.

This anniversary reading will take place on Monday, April 15, 5pm at the Alte Senatssaal of Leipzig University (Ritterstr. 26). It is free and open to the public. For more information, please see the attached poster and flyer or the Facebook event.
