Mary Rogus: "Election 2012 in the Media: Fact-Checking, Tweeting and Big Spending!" (3.515)

Mary Rogus is professor for broadcast journalism at Ohio University. Prior to joining Ohio University, Rogus spent 20 years working in television news. She co-wrote Managing Television News: A Handbook for Ethical and Effective Producing which has received widespread praise, including an endorsement by Walter Cronkite. Rogus has conducted many international workshops for tv news production, including in Ukraine, Guyana, and Indonesia. At the various stations she has worked, her news teams have won several AP Best Newscast and Best News Operations awards, Murrow Awards for Spot News and Continuing Coverage, and a National Headliner award for Best Newscast.
