ASLAA Workshop: What to do with American Studies?‚Äč

Students of American Studies are often confronted with questions regarding their future jobs and career choices, since a vast number of possible positions or fields awaits you. The ASLAA will help you get a head start on organizing your thoughts, ideas and goals.

The workshop "What to do with American Studies?" is held by Katharina-Luise Kittler (President ASLAA) and Miriam Wilke (Vice President ASLAA). During the workshop, we will introduce you to possible career options suited for graduates of American Studies. Additionally, we will explore strategies to identify your strengths and weaknesses which will ultimately guide you in planning your studies and life after university.

The workshop will take place on Thursday, October 12 from 6pm to 8pm in room 2.516 of the Geisteswissenschaftliche Zentrum (GWZ), Beethovenstraße 15. We invite all students currently enrolled in the BA or MA program of American Studies Leipzig as well as students from other institutes. The event is free and will be held in English. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

You can find more information on the event in the attached file below or in the Facebook event.

We look forward to seeing you!
