 Democrats vs. Republicans: Debate in Leipzig

The upcoming November presidential election is already casting big shadows.  Even in Leipzig there will be a debate between Democrats Abroad Germany and Republicans Abroad Germany. 

The event will take place on Monday, September 1st 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, in the Kuppelsaal of the Leipziger Volkszeitung on the top floor of the Verlagshaus. Petersteinweg 19, 04107 . It will be hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce.

On the panel will be:
Michael S. Ricks, Vice-Chair of Republicans Abroad Germany
Michael Steltzer, Chair of the Berlin Chapter of Democrats Abroad Germany
Dr. Anita Kecke, Leipziger Volkszeitung, moderator

A Round Table Dinner will take place afterwards at the Restaurant Eckstein Münzgasse 28 in 04107 Leipzig. Due tolimited seating, registrations will be accepten on a first come first served basis. Registrations must be made by August 20th 2008.

The topic of the debate will be concentrating on US foreign policy.
