 Apply Now for a Student Assistant Position (Deadline: September 2)!

American Studies Leipzig is looking for a motivated student to fill a support position for the project "Teaching America" in the upcoming winter semester. "Teaching America" is a project that uses an online portal to help Lehramt students implement e-teaching tools to prepare a high-school syllabus.

As a student assistant for the project, your tasks will include:

  • preparation of online material,
  • maintenance of the Teaching America online portal, and
  • administrative support.

For a successful application, you should:

  • be interested in topics of American studies,
  • be proficient in the use of online (teaching) tools such as Moodle, or show commitment to quickly learn the necessary skills,
  • be generally handy with online researching, e-learning, and related digital environments.

BA, MA, or Lehramt students may all apply. Please send your application, including a CV and a brief motivational statement (all in English), to eleonora.ravizza@uni-leipzig.de by September 2.
