Summer Weather, Work, and Travel

Last Monday, around 8 p.m., I thought I would experience my first tornado. All of a sudden, two or three different sirens went off, howling through the thick humid evening air. Someone blaring through a speaker was warning me and everyone else from something that I could not understand because the voice was heavily distorted. It was dark outside; this distinct darkness that is caused by oodles of heavy and fat dark clouds.

So Long, Athens

So this is it. The first half of our BA+ experience has come to an end, the spring semester is over. As excited as I am for the things to come in the summer, I wish I didn't have to say goodbye to my roommates and friends yet. But of course, it wouldn't have been easier two or three weeks later. What makes this time so weird, so incomparable to my experience in Leipzig, is that here, so many (thankfully not all) people I've met and spent time with have left on one single weekend.

Back to NYC

This past weekend, we did a trip to New York in order to present our Access Analyses for this semester’s GLC project at the German Center for Research and Innovation in Manhattan.
