Participants of Transatlantic Seminar 2013 Present To Diplomats at US Consulate Leipzig

With presentations to diplomats and staff members of the US Consulate Leipzig, students from Ohio University’s GLC and ASL concluded this year’s Transatlantic Seminar and Student Summit on Friday. Over the course of the week the students had split into five working groups and prepared recommendations for successfully implementing the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) in the sectors of agriculture, finance, manufacturing, services, and energy.

Ohio and ASL Students Come Together For Two Student Socials

As part of the Transatlantic Seminar 2013, students from Ohio University and ASL got together for two student socials recently. On Monday, BA Plus fellows, alumni and staff as well as the GLC students and their Leipzig hosts met for the Ohio Welcome Dinner. Throughout a fun night the out going BA Plus fellows had the opportunity to gather valuable information about living and studying in Ohio. On Tuesday, a student cohort from Ohio University's E. W. Scripps School of Journalism joined the ASL and GLC students for a casual get-together in Leipzig's Clara Park.
