Tutorial "The Anglo-American World" (04-001-1008) Starts in Week 2

Dear Students,

The tutorial completing the module "The Anglo-American World in a Global Context" will start in the week of April 14. The course is taught by Bethany Lerch, and the first session is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15, 9-11am (GWZ 2516).

ASL MA 2nd Years on a Field Trip to the Medical Faculty

For the first time in the history of the Institute for American Studies at Leipzig University, an MA class (Elisabeth Böhme, Wiebke Kartheus, Eric Fraunholz, Sören Schoppmeier, Tyrone White) along with ASL faculty (Prof. Gabriele Pisarz-Ramirez, Anja Eifert, MA, and Dr. Katja Schmieder) joined a seminar-related excursion to the University Hospital. Evolving from a research cooperation, we were invited to the OB/GYN Department in Liebigstrasse on January 28, 2014, to talk with three MDs: Dr. Schrey (Obstetrics) as well as Dr. Handzel and Dr.
