New Visiting Research Scholar Prof. Renae Watchman

American Studies Leipzig is very happy to welcome Prof. Renae Watchman as Visiting Research Scholar from July 2015 to August 2016. Following an invitation by Assistant Lecturer Anne Grob, Prof. Watchman will support the institute’s growing research focus on ethnicity and diversity.

Lehramtsmodul 1401 - Repeat Exam

Workshop "Imaginative Encounters" at ASL

On 5 December 2014, American Studies Leipzig hosted the workshop “Imaginative Encounters: Interethnic Relations and Conflict in U.S. Cultural Productions.” Aside from the five panelists and ASL faculty, 65 interested students attended the event, which was organized by ASL Professor for Minority Studies, Gabriele Pisarz-Ramirez.


"Teaching America" Team Takes Part in Leipzig University's "Tag der Lehre"

On 12 Nov 2014, the Teaching America Team, consisting of project director Prof. Crister Garrett, project coordinator Anne Grob, and American Studies student assistant Eric Fraunholz, participated in the poster session of Leipzig University’s “Tag der Lehre”.
