 Quality Management Internship, Akademie für Ehrenamtlichkeit Deutschland, Berlin

The Akademie für Ehrenamtlichkeit Deutschland (AfED) is Germany’s competence center for volunteer and charity work. Within the branches of Qualification, Development, and Consulting, the academy conveys the tools of the trade to organizations working in the field of volunteer work. For 2015, AfED is looking for a motivated intern in the Berlin office. The starting date is flexible and the internship will last between 2–6 months. The intern can either focus on working in Qualification, Development, and Consulting, or with Quifd—Agentur für Qualität in Freiwilligendiensten. The intern will gain valuable insights into project management and event organization, but will also have the chance to deal in depth with topics such as volunteer management and civil society.

Tasks:

  • Supporting the organization of workshops
  • Supporting the conception of further education materials
  • Cooperating with other projects in the nonprofit sector
  • Researching topical issues in the fields of quality management, volunteer work, etc.
  • Maintaining homepage and facebook account
  • Event organization
  • General administrative work
  • Etc.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled student
  • Interested in topics like civil society and volunteer work, maybe involved yourself
  • Comfortable working in a team and individually
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Expereinced in using MS Office
  • Excellent command of German, other language skills are a plus
  • Some experience in event management is a plus
