Braunschweig’s Haus der Wissenschaft offers a platform for the dialog between science and society. In an open and creative atmosphere, visitors can experience science, technology, and culture from new perspectives through a diversity of projects and events. Among other events, Haus der Wissenschaft features a Science Slam and the lecture series “Tatsachen? Forschung unter der Lupe”. The KIWI-Forschertage are especially tailored to the demands of children and teenagers. Additionally, the company offers a network that fosters the creativity, innovational thrust, and appeal of the regional research infrastructure.

Haus der Wissenschaft is looking for motivated interns who are willing to support the work of the PR and communications team for a period of three months, starting in December 2015 or January 2016. The internship is paid, and interns work 40 hours per week.


  • Supporting the PR and marketing teams
  • Writing news items on past events and articles for a Braunschweig newspaper
  • Researching and drafting press releases and newsletter
  • Maintaining the press review and mailing lists
  • Assisting in network, project, and event management


  • Advanced student
  • Prior experience in PR and marketing or project management
  • Good written and spoken German skills
  • You enjoy working independently and self-motivated
  • Solid MS-Office skills; digital image-editing skills are a plus
  • You are open-minded, reliable, and flexible
