 Non-Profit Internship at the Hispanic Heritage Center of Texas, San Antonio

The Hispanic Heritage Center of Texas is a non-profit institution headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. The Center is focused on ensuring that the historical accounts of Hispanics are made known. Its goal is to build a comprehensive public organization that partners with leaders, educators, and scholars to make certain that future exhibitions, media, and art pay more attention to the Hispanic ancestry. The Internship and Professional Development Program will be centered on education, research, professionalism in the work environment, career advice, and greater access to resources to become self-sufficient. The HHCTX is seeking responsible, enthusiastic and adaptable undergraduate candidates. Currently the Center has several intern positions open for multiple interest. The organization continually accepts internship applications.


  • Cooperating with and supporting the Center’s leadership and staff
  • Participating in a variety of activities including educational workshops, research, career development seminars, and event planning


  • Currently enrolled undergrad student in a field related to history, political science, English, Spanish, Mexican-American studies, urban studies, education
  • Strong interpersonal communication, collaborative problem solving, time management, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • High level of creativity
  • Good computer skills and familiarit with MS Office products
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus
