 Communications Internship with Association of Global Automakers, Washington, D.C.

The Association of Global Automakers is a not-for-profit trade association that represents the U.S. divisions of 12 motor vehicle manufacturers. Its purpose is to foster an open and competitive automotive marketplace that encourages investment, job growth, and development of more vehicles that enhance Americans' quality of life. Global Automakers is seeking a communications intern to work 25 hours per week in their Washington, D.C. office. The internship is paid at $10/hour.

Tasks:

  • Analyze automotive sales and vehicle data
  • Conduct internet research related to issue areas
  • Monitor the news, blogs and social media sources for auto industry developments
  • Maintain media database
  • General administrative duties as required

Requirements:

  • Excellent writing and research skills
  • Experience using social media
  • Interest in public policy and communications
