Amnesty is a global NGO working in the fields of human rights. They continually offer a very large number of internships in all their local sections, covering tasks in the fields of Economy, Refugees, Organization/Management, Law etc.

Human Rights Watch

Human Rights Watch is a U.S.- based NGO, operating globally on issues of human rights, terrorism, emergency relief, etc. Their international offices offer internships both paid and unpaid, for undergraduate and graduate students, in fields such as advocacy, research, translation, communications, administration, fundraising etc.

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Auswärtige Politik e.V.


The DGAP is a Berlin-based foreign policy think tank. Their profile includes international networking to promote Germany's relations abroad, consulting for politicians and media, commenting international events and developments for the public, and, of course, in-depth research on Germany's international relations. They also continually host a number of informative events, featuring international guest lecturers. Therefore, the DGAP could also be a valuable source of information for research projects over the course of your studies.

AGBC American-German Business Club e.V.

Summary: The American-German Business Club Saxony facilitates contact, information sharing and coordinates events among members, all of whom are involved in or have an interest in business between America and Germany. There is the possibility of a part time internship with pay helping out with the chapter in Leipzig.


Summary: The events branch of 7SINN is offering an internship focusing on the support of a variety of projects they coordinate for clients – with a special focus on cooking as a theme.
Essential Skills: Knowledge of English is required as well as knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Photoshop, Corel etc.) and a basic understanding of web design.
